| resource wins batch of multi million pound contracts to service shopping centres |
resource, Ireland’s leading soft services company, has won a string of new contracts to provide soft services to three leading shopping centres in Northern Ireland. ![]() The contracts, which have a combined value of over £3.5m, involve the provision of security at Foyleside shopping centre in Derry and at Buttercrane shopping centre in Newry. resource has also been awarded the contract to provide both security and cleaning services to Abbeycentre shopping centre in Newtownabbey. All three contracts were awarded after a competitive tendering process by managing agents BTW Shiells. Commenting on the new business, Chief Executive of resource, said it was further evidence of the confidence of the retail centre sector in resource’s expertise in this market. He said: “Our strategy is to offer clients a tailored, one-stop service, whether they want to outsource a single support service or to bundle a number of different services together, as in the case of Abbeycentre. “These latest contracts demonstrate our ability to provide added-value services. We are looking forward to working with BTW Shiells, Abbeycentre, Foyleside and Buttercrane shopping centres to deliver the high level of support which will give their customers a better shopping experience .” The latest contracts following recent business successes by resource, including Forestside Shopping Centre and Queen’s University, Belfast resource, which recently acquired Pall Mall, the GB-based cleaning and security arm of Carillion plc, employs approximately 15,000 people in the UK and Ireland. |
