resource has consistently provided Queens University with value for money, innovative bundled support service solutions and a safer learning environment for sites throughout Northern Ireland. What services are provided? resource currently provides a range of support services to the Queens University estate, including general cleaning, mat rental, equipment maintenance and supply and laundry services. Key statistics The contract currently covers 48 locations, at the various Queens University campuses and estates across Northern Ireland. At present, there are in excess of 50 staff currently engaged on the contract, providing staffing cover across all locations. What has resource achieved? In-keeping with the client’s strong focus on Innovation and Environmental Management and Performance, resource built upon its broad ISO accreditations to create ethically focused working processes and standard operating procedures. Through substantial investment in J-Flex and micro fibre cleaning techniques and the installation and renewal of new machinery and equipment, resource reduced operational and consumable costs for the client. How has this been done? The introduction of a portable punch-in system streamlined the workforce management process, ensuring high levels of attendance and scheduling efficiency throughout the contract. resource also adopted a ‘policy plus’ action plan, measuring the approach to reducing waste and improving performance, to allow for constant innovation and development of the current operating procedures. Demonstrating our success The initial success of the cleaning service provided to Queens University’s extensive campus site prompted expansion of service provision to include planned maintenance works, mat rental, washroom services and equipment supply to all new buildings across the Queens estate. |
