resource provides an innovative support service package to consistently meet the requirements of internationally renowned manufacturer Michelin. What services are provided? resource provides daily cleaning, provision of required consumables, window cleaning and periodical cleaning across the Michelin premises in Northern Ireland. Key statistics 16 full-time staff are presently employed at the contracted Michelin premises, working varying shifts to maximise the efficiency of service provision. What has resource achieved? We have consistently improved the cost-efficiency of the service provided to Michelin throughout the contract, running from 1999 to 2009. resource has successfully tailored the ethicality of the service we provide to be in-keeping with the client’s own environmental policies. As a result of the maintained success of the service package provided, Michelin tasked resource with the provision and laundering of work-wear, as well as factory cleaning and machine cleaning services. How has this been done? To provide an environmentally conscious service, resource employed a designated Energy Conservationist, to improve the efficiency of energy usage throughout the manufacturing premises; turning off lights and shutting down unused electrical appliances to conserve power. A resounding success, the Energy Conservation scheme recouped the assigned team member’s annual salary in saved costs within the first month of operation. Demonstrating our success We have succeeded in the successful transition from employing part-time staff to full-time staff, allowing us to provide a more flexible and cost-efficient service, providing knowledgeable ambassadors that are an asset to the Michelin brand. |
