The LSE is a highly prestigious public research university which operates a significant estate across Westminster and can boast the World’s largest social and political research library. These facilities provide a world class learning environment to over 8,700 students and 1,300 academic staff across 25 academic departments which since foundation, in 1895, can name notable alumni including 17 Nobel Prize Winners as well as 34 world leaders.
